Need Teenage Volunteers

Do you know of a teenage girl or boy who might be interested in doing some volunteering one Saturday a month to help with the children during our reflection meetings? Mother to Mother Ministry of NWA would like to get a group of about 5 teens to commit to 2.5 hours one Saturday a month. Someone who has to do community service would be good to as long as they came with
high recommendations. I don't want to just put anyone in charge of our special children. Contact Mindy Walker, Mother to Mother Ministry of NWA, (479)-271-8138 or mtmm@exec-center.com.

Employing Generation Y

"They are different from baby boomers, more demanding than generation X and they will be doing your job one day. Laura Fragiacomo takes a look at what makes generation Y tick in the workplace

Baby boomers born in the 15 years after WWII will start reaching retirement age by 2005. They outnumber generation X by 2:1, and it does not take a mathematician to work out that there will not be enough people to fill the jobs vacated by the boomers.

Born from 1982 onwards, generation Y outnumbers the Xs and over time will attain critical mass; however organisations looking to generation Y as fodder to fuel the engines of business are set to be sorely disappointed."

Read more of Laura Fragiacomo's article "Talking about Y Generation."
