The holidays are upon us, and we have some really fun ideas for getting a jump start on your gifts.
Thursday, December 4
Progressive Shopping Party
This Thursday night from 5:30 p.m.- 9 p.m. is the 4th annual Progressive Shopping Party complete with limo service. Arrive at the location of your choice and enjoy refreshments while shopping in a relaxed atmosphere. Catch the limousine to the next stop and continue your holiday shopping extravaganza. This event gets bigger every year and this year there are 12 participating venues:
Little Mountain Bindery & Printmaking Studio, Heartwood Gallery, Nightbird Books, Dark Star Visuals, Private Gallery, Something Urban, Good Things Boutique, Little Bread Co., Hand Held, Terra Tots, Three Sisters, and World Treasures.
This is a fun way to support local shops and check off some names from your list.
Saturday, December 6 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
Make Your Own Holiday Gift Wrap class.
We are so excited about this workshop. Each participant will make a minimum of 12 sheets of 24"X30" gift wrap using a variety of techniques including stenciling, spray paint, dip dye, and paste among others. Bring a friend to receive a $5 discount. Kids would love this class also (kids 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Reserve your spot today!
The cost for the class is $25 and includes all materials and supplies.
Monday & Tuesday, December 8 & 9
Double Drawer Jewelry Box
This is going to be a beautiful box with two sliding drawers to fill with whatever little treasures you fancy. Made from bookboard, fine papers and bookcloths, this box looks very elaborate, but is really not very difficult to make. Bring a friend to receive $10 off. Reserve your spot today!
The cost for the class is $125 and includes all materials pre-cut.
