Eckobase Plays at George's Majestic Lounge with Drummer Brian Hickman

Friday night at George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Brian will be playing drums & electronic percussion with members of Eckobase, and Pat will be sitting-in on guitar throughout the evening as well. The group will play some Eckobase tunes, as well as improvised music, and will focus on Eckobase's usual style of live electronic and groove-based music. The Eckobase "Collective" will be in the lounge, while The Hero Factor will be outside in the garden. Tentatively set to open inside is Rhythm Mandir, an up-and-coming Indian band from Fayetteville.

Also, to let everyone know, Minkus Finkus ended up coming out of the recent Northwest Arkansas Music Awards as Jazz Band of the Year. Thanks to everyone who supported our musical efforts w/your vote! As most have noticed, we aren't really active these days as a band, and the members of Minkus are instead involved with various other musical projects together and independantly. We do appreciate your support of what we did while active as a band, though, and hope that everyone will continue to support future projects of the members of Minkus, and of course continue supporting live music in Fayetteville in general.

We'll see you all at the shows . . .

Peace,
The Minkus Finkus "Collective"

Oxenhandler has been a mainstay performer among St Louis music establishments for over 40 years. His flawless time and effortless swing blossom in the presence of tunes that represent the best of the Great American Songbook as well as some originals.
