Alan Oxenhandler
with the House Rhythm Section: Claudia Burson, Jim Greeson and Darren Novotny.

Singer, dancer, and standup comic, Oxenhandler was introduced into the world of music and entertainment as a child. By age 11 he was playing drums and singing along with the records of Sinatra, Mathis, Prez Prado, and Nat King Cole. Oxenhandler has been a mainstay performer among St Louis music establishments for over 40 years. His flawless time and effortless swing blossom in the presence of tunes that represent the best of the Great American Songbook as well as some originals. A talent born of admiration of the music of Sinatra, Joe Williams and Mel Torme, Oxenhandler has accrued more and more recognition as a jazz voice in his own right.

Join us every Thursday Night at 9-11pm for some cool jazz in the bar at Bordinos.

June 15 - CSN Trio
Cool vibes are on the menu tonight as Adam Collins-vibes, Clare Starr-bass, and Darren Novotny-drums take the stage. In the traditions of Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, and Bobby Hutcherson, Collins continues to explore the possibilities and celestial sounds of the vibraphone.

June 22 - Larry Cangelosi Trio
Saxophonist Larry Cangelosi leads this trio with the stellar support of Claudia Burson-piano, and Clare Starr-bass. Cangelosi has that big mellow tone on tenor sax and a tune list that covers ballads, bebop, and beyond.

June 29 - Trio de Janeiro
The boys with the Brazilian Beat are back; Nathan Mcleod on alto sax, William Reyes -guitar and Adam Collins on percussion. The trio has developed their repertoire of Bossa Nova classics by Jobim, and rearranged some pop hits by Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel and even the Bee Gee's with a Bossa groove.
