WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH BANQUET

Thursday March 29th Fayetteville Clarion, 6pm to mingle and visit, 6:30pm sit-down,served meal. $17.00 each. We introduce four honorees, not yet selected as of yesterday, usually 85 to 100 women and a few (perhaps 10) men are in the room. We have a brief speaker, then an introducer from one of the seven women's groups introduces each honoree, she gets plaque, corsage, perhaps a keepsake if we have enough money,20 minutes to tell us her thoughts and purposes. Each honoree is asked to bring her awards, scrapbook, photos, we set up a display for each honoree. Tickets are not printed as of yesterday. The sponsoring groups are AAUW, League of Women Voters, Wash Cty Democratice Women, Wash Cty Republican Women, NOW of NW Arkansas, Fayetteville Business and Professional Women (BPW-USA) and another, cant recall, sorry.
