Spring Break Workshops
March 26th-30th, 2007

Jennifer Lacour
at The Arts Center of the Ozarks

Jennifer Lacour teaches privately and works as a freelance instructor.
Jennifer has created after-school art programs for Jefferson &
St. Charles Parishes (Counties) and has been the Art Director for the
Jefferson Parish (County) Summer Day Camps. She is a juried member
of the Louisiana Crafts Guild and currently sells her work at
Fine Art and Fine Craft shows around the country.

Spring Break Art Blast (K-6):
March 26th-30th, 2007. 9:00- 3:30pm (Students need to bring sack lunch)
Students will spend the week exploring clay, fiber, mosaics, collage, and paint.
Cost: $75 Minimum number of students: 10/ Maximum: 25

Creating Together- Family Art Workshop, 1 adult/ 1 child (5yrs. and up):
Saturday, March 31st, 2007. 9:00am-2:00pm (Students need to bring sack lunch)
Adult and children will discover the art of textile design and silk screening.
Students will learn about water dyes, image transfers, stenciling, embellishing
and much more.

Cost: $50 Minimum number of students: 5 pairs/ Maximum: 10 pairs
Adult Non-Traditional Beadmaking Workshop (12 & up):
March 26th-30th, 2007. 6:00pm- 8:00pm (Students need to bring their own heat gun)
Students will spend the week learning how to make their own beads, charms, and
other elements using traditional and non-traditional materials. Materials include
fabric, paper, felt, metal, clay, and many more.
Cost: $75 Minimum number of students: 6/ Maximum:12
