The Heather Ridley-Fleeman Battle for HOPE

Our 3rd annual race event will be help May 5th, 2007 starting @ 8:00 a.m. The race will include a 5k run, 5K walk, 1 mile family walk, and kids race (12 & under). All funds stay in NWA and benefit HOPE, Inc., a local nonprofit whose mission includes assisting cancer patients with financial and emotional support. HOPE is also dedicated to the development and promotion of cancer research right here in NWA.

The Heather Ridley-Fleeman Battle for HOPE is an event that was created by family and friends of Heather as a way to remember a great lady and to raise awareness of colon cancer. Heather died of colon cancer at only 28. In her life, she worked to help other cancer patients who couldn't afford cancer drugs or participate in clinical trials. Her family and friends want to make sure that all cancer patients have access to the resources they need during cancer treatment and want to educate individuals that early detection does save lives. For more information on Heather's story see our website at www.heathersraceforhope.com. Look for registration information soon !!!

If your company would like to sponsor our event please contact Cyndi Bilyeu @ 479.725.2140. Please spread the word about our 2007 race event by forwarding this e-mail to your friends and family.
