YouthCAN! February Class Schedule

Saturday, Feb. 10 from 2-4 pm. Come “Play in the Mud” with pottery guru Dave Metzger. Try your hand at the wheel and make a great hand built wall hanging. Cost $20 per person, or $30 for parent/child pairs. All ages welcome.

Saturday, Feb. 10 from 12-2 pm Come explore “The Masks We Wear”, a class led by Barbara Price Davis. This class will explore masks from different cultures, and then you will create your own mask beautiful enough to hang on any wall. Cost: $15 per person, or $25 for parent/child duos.

Saturday, Feb. 17 from 12-2 pm. Come “Journal You.” This will be a book making class where you will make a personalized one-of-a-kind journal to take home. Writing prompts will be provided to get those words flowing onto the page. Cost: $15 per person, or $25 for parent/child duos. Ages 8 and up.

Saturday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 24 from 2-4 pm. Come “Chime your Heart Out” by making your own set of personalized wind chimes for your patio or garden. This class will meet twice, once so you can create the chimes, and a second time to string them. Nothing sounds as lovely as something created by hand. Cost $25 per person, or $35 for parent/child duos. Ages 10 and up.

Friday, Feb 23 from 2-4 pm. Beginning Pottery class with mud master Dave! Perfect for all ages, you will create an original clay rattle that is both beautiful and musical. Cost, $15 per person or $25 for parent/child duos.

Saturday, Feb 24 from 2-4pm Come “Wave your Own Flag.” This textile workshop will use fabric to create a flag that you’ll be proud to display. Create a flag to announce our interests, your dreams, your favorite hobbies, etc. Fun and easy for all ages. Cost: $10 per person or $15 for parent/child duos.
