Saturday, April 7 & Sunday, April 8, 2007 - Mount Sequoyah Conference & Retreat Center - A Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds, Saturday, April 7, at 2:00 pm for children through the 5th grade. (sponsored by Fayetteville Central United Methodist Church).
Saturday evening concert with Dale Johnston, “The Gospel Troubadour”, will be held in Clapp Auditorium at 6:30 pm. Dale is the winner of “The 2003 Male Horizon Award” and “2004 Favorite Male Vocalist of the Year” for the Country Gospel Music Guild, and “2004 Favorite Male Soloist” of the Music City Gospel Showcase. Admission is $5. Advance tickets available at 479-251-7754 or at the Mount Sequoyah Office 479-443-4531. 84th Annual Sunrise Service, Sunday, April 8, 6:30 am will be held at Vesper Point on Mount Sequoyah. Rev. Mark Dorff, retired clergy from the New Mexico Conference and interim director at Mount Sequoyah in 2004, will be preaching. Special music will be provided by Jonathan Story, pianist and “Saints Alive”, the Senior Adult Choir from Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
