Needed: mini DV camcorder for non-profit

Arts Live Theatre is a non profit children's and youth theatre company located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. As the only dedicated children's and youth theatre program in northwest Arkansas, Arts Live Theatre offers classes in acting 5-18 through nine on site classes, five satellite programs at The New School, St. Joseph's, Benton County School of the Arts, Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club and Parks and Recreation. In addition Arts Live produces three mainstage productions anually. Past productions include GREASE, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, ALADDIN, HOLES and the ALT original production of THE PIRATE SHOW. Arts Live also offers specialty classes for youth 11-18 in the TheatreLab series including Television Production in which the television series FAYETTEVILLE 72701 is produced.

In the 2007-08 season Arts Live had 309 students participating in its programs and received sponsorships from the Walker Foundation, Nickelodeon, BNSF logistics, Masons, Starr Foundation, The Bank of Fayetteville, The Morning News, Democrat-Gazette, Nadine L Baum Charitable Foundation Trust, Disney, B-Unlimited, Colgate-Palmolive and many more.

As we approach our next season, we are in need of a mini DV camcorder so we may continue to film FAYETTEVILLE 72701, our productions, classes and showcases. Such a donation would greatly benefit Arts Live and have a direct impact upon its youth.

Thank you for your consideration.
