Great Things Happening in the Area
The Mud Club is now the Boston Mountain Potter's Association (BMPA). Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 8 & feel free to join us at our monthly meetings. We meet at Flat Rock at 6 pm on the second Tues of the month. We are having a contest for our new logo design also, so bring your ideas.

Let all your friends know that we have expanded our clay classes to Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6- 9pm. We keep the classes limited in size so that you can get good one-on-one time with the instructor while doing the projects you are interested in and not just assigned A,B, C's.

The MtView Wood Firing Workshop April 18-22 was a hit and I will have the results up over the weekend. A wood firing is something everyone should experience - the bonding along with the wonderful work is a couple of the great things about this wonderful medium we work with - clay.

June / University of Dallas Hosts David Gamble for a 5 day long workshop about decorating techniques. This is hands on and more in depth like the one we had last year with Diana Farris from Amaco. Contact Dan at hammett@udallas.edu for more information.

Local Potters Jim & Sarah Young and their students will be featured at the new gallery in downtown Rogers, Poor Richard's, May 10 - June 5. Reception May 10. Call the gallery for details.

Bentonville will be hosting their Art Walk June 16th. Check it out.
