Big Brothers Big Sisters Needs Volunteers
Since 1904, the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization has been mentoring youth with positive results. The ongoing relationships established through Big Brothers Big Sisters are phenomenal. The Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the significance of these mentoring relationships for both the "Big" and the "Little," works with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program to recruit mentors for children in our community.
At this time, we have many youths in our area wanting to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister. There are many ways to get involved, and even a lunch once a week with a student at their school will have a big impact.
You can help by putting us in touch with individuals in your workplace who might be interested in mentoring a "Little" by calling for more information.
Are you or someone you know ready for such an adventure in nurturing a young girl or boy? Find out more by contacting Taryn McGill at 479-619-3194 or at tmcgill@rogerslowell.com.
