Ultra Studios To Celebrate Grand Opening On May 15th

After hosting “A Fashion Evolution Experience” in April, a well-attended event that raised $4,000 to benefit Children’s House of Northwest Arkansas, Ultra Studios is preparing for its Grand Opening on Friday, May 15th, 2009, from 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. Ultra Studios is lifelong work coming to fruition for owner, local fashion designer and Springdale native Brooke Benham. Ultra Studios, located in the newly renovated building at 118 W. South Street in South Fayetteville, houses a fashion design studio and workspace (where Brooke Benham and her team actually manufacture the Native Couture clothing line), retail space and local artist gallery. “I’m excited to offer unique, wearable clothing and jewelry, all locally designed and made,” Benham shares.

Brooke Benham is the designer of modern primitive fashion collection Native Couture, which debuted on the runway at the Children’s House benefit just last month. This Friday shoppers can purchase these hot-off-the-runway garments, as well as fine art by local artists. Doors open at 10 a.m. on Friday morning, May 15th, and will remain open until 10 p.m. The Local Artist Showcase will begin at 6 p.m., during which time wine and cheese will be served. Shoppers and showcase attendees will be eligible for door prizes.
