Greenest Office Nominations Due May 22.

The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal is looking for the market's Greenest Office.

A green office one that takes into account employee behavior and innovation as well as energy efficiency and conservation. It's about people, policy and practices; not just windows and walls.

If your company is reducing its impact on the planet while working cut expenses and boost profits, it qualifies.

Methodology

Entrants from Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Sebastian, Madison and Washington counties will be evaluated by an independent panel of Northwest Arkansas judges who work in various disciplines, but who have environmentally friendly or sustainable practices as part of their professional focus.

LEED-certified and LEED-registered buildings will be included in this search.

Categories

There will be winners in five categories:

• Category I - one overall Northwest Arkansas winner
• Category II - a company that occupies a building it commissioned
• Category III - a company that leases space in a building that already existed
• Category VI - a company with 1-49 employees
• Category V - a company with 50 or more employees

All winning companies will be featured in the Sustainable Practices issue of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, to be published July 14.

Deadline for nominations is May 22.
