BEYOND THE SECRET: spirituality and narcissism

Mark your calendars for this provocative examination of the
'law of attraction.' Mr. Newman will offer a critique of Rhonda
Byrne's smash hit, The Secret, identifying both strengths and
weaknesses of this model. This lecture is offered in the spirit
of dialogue, with the intention of stimulating meaningful conversation about manifestation, and the psychology of spiritual pursuit.

Josh Newman is a licensed professional counselor in private
practice in Fayetteville, AR. He also co-leads the Buddhist
Meditation and Spiritual Support group which meets Thursday
nights at the Arkansas Yoga Center. Mr. Newman has a B.A.
in psychology and religion from Hendrix College in Conway, AR and a M.A. in counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM.
