From the Springdale Chamber:
Businesses Encouraged to Review Sign Ordinance Amendments
Dear Chamber Member
The Ordinance Committee of the Springdale City Council is currently considering amendments to the city's existing sign ordinance.
Two major changes are worth your review:
The size of Real Estate Signs would be reduced from a current maximum sign face area of 6 square feet to a maximum of 5 square feet in area per sign face and no taller than 42 inches in height.
Window Signs, while not currently covered in the city's sign ordinance, would not be allowed to cover more than 25% of the gross glass area on any one side of a building, and could not entirely obstruct any single window pane.
You are encouraged to read the proposed sign ordinance changes in their entirety by going to the Springdale Chamber site.
If you have concerns about these proposed changes, you are encouraged to contact these members of the City Council's Ordinance Committee.
