Nightbird Books Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Release Party

The final installment of the Harry Potter series is just days away. Join us at Nightbird Books to celebrate the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
On Friday night, July 20th, Nightbird Books will close early at 6:00 pm to prepare for the big event. At 8:30 our release party will officially begin!
In our parking lot, listen to our official release party band, Basement Brew, or hang out at the bonfire in our fire pit. Jugglers and puppeteers will be strolling through the crowd all evening.
Soft drinks and water will be available for purchase from our own branch of the Three Broomsticks.
Book Distribution Procedures:
When you arrive at the party you and any guest will need to check in at the register. If you have prepaid for the book, present your gift card and receive a bookmark to redeem your book with at midnight. If you have not prepaid for a book, you will need to do so when you arrive.
At 11:45, we will begin lining up to pass out the books. You will need the bookmark you received when you checked in. No other form of payment will work in this line.
At 12:01, we will pass out the books and stamp your bookmark to show you received your copy.

Saturday is your chance to shop at Diagon Alley. Nightbird Books is transforming our parking lot into the famous shopping district from the Harry Potter series.

Schedule:
At 9:30 am, Nightbird Books and the Fayetteville Public Library will lead a parade from the Fayetteville Farmer's Market on the Fayetteville Square to the library and bookstore. Elementary aged children are encourged to stop at the library for Harry Potter fun scheduled from 10 to 12. Older children can proceed on to Nightbird Books. From 12 to 2, the library will have programs scheduled for teens.
