Update on Toni:
After complications that included surgery to remove her gall bladder and a difficult to diagnose antibiotic resistant urinary tract infection, Toni is back home in Bentonville until sometime in September while she mends from her injuries and surgery.
Given the circumstances, Toni is doing well.
I understand that the fund raiser on July 13 went very well. The family appreciates it very much.
The quilt that is being raffled was made by my wife, Karen Goad, who is Toni's great-aunt. The raffle drawing is August 20th. Tickets are $5. The quilt can be seen at the Boys and Girls club. The contact information for ordering tickets is the same as that mentioned in the original post.
