Saatchi & Saatchi X to Host the Fourth Annual TM Children's Foundation Open
Springdale, AR August 25, 2005 - Saatchi & Saatchi X will host the fourth Annual TM Children's Foundation Open at the Springdale Country Club on Friday, September 23, 2005.
The shotgun start tournament will include a morning and afternoon flight, a luncheon sponsored by ARVEST, a dinner reception featuring Larry B The Entertainer and a silent auction. There will be two hole-in-one shoot-outs with a chance to win a Hummer from Landers. The golf tournament is a fundraising event benefiting TM Children's Foundation.
TM Children's Foundation (TMCF) is a nonprofit 501c(3) organization dedicated to making a direct impact in the lives of children throughout Northwest Arkansas by providing opportunity and hope to children in need helping them realize their potential. Since its establishment, it has raised over $125,000 for local childrens organizations.
In 2005, TMCF is supporting the following children's organizations:
The CHILDREN'S SAFETY CENTER is an organization whose mission is to prevent child victims of sexual abuse from being traumatized during the investigation process.
Conductive Education of Northwest Arkansas (CENA) is an organization that teaches children with motor disabilities such as cerebral palsy. CENA works to help children with motor disorders learn to overcome problems of movement as a way of enabling them to live more active and independent lives.
Children's House is an intervention center for abused and neglected children. It is the only therapeutic center in Arkansas working exclusively with preschool-age children and toddlers.
The Ozark Guidance Preschool offers affordable, high-quality services designed to meet individual, family, organizational, and community needs for better mental health.
Champs League is an organization that provides fun sport options to children with mental and/or special physical needs.
Registration for the tournament is $100.
Registration will close on Friday, September 9.
