CONTEMPORARY SCULPTURE SOCIETY AND THE ASSOCIATION OF CERAMIC ENTHUSIASTS TO HOST REGIONAL SCULPTURE INVITATIONAL EXHIBITION AT FAYETTEVILLE UNDERGROUND

Fayetteville, Ark., March 17, 2009 - The Contemporary Sculpture Society and the Association of Ceramic Enthusiasts will present an Invitational Sculpture Exhibition Opening at Fayetteville Underground on Wednesday, March 25th, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. Fayetteville Underground is located at the basement level of East Square Plaza, 1 E. Center, in Fayetteville Downtown Square.

The exhibition brings together over 20 artists from a four-state area and will showcase works in such diverse media as stone, bronze, ceramic, fabric, plastic and more. Though the exhibition will run from Wednesday, March 25th, 2009, through Saturday, April 4th, 2009, the opening reception will feature unique one-show-only performance pieces.

Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. This Invitational Sculpture Exhibition is a part of the Physical Reminders Symposium, which is hosted by the University of Arkansas and will take place from March 24th-25th, 2009.
