Ready to Hire? Meet the Perfect Applicant at the Job Fair – The Northwest Arkansas Spring Job Fair is set for May 5 from noon-7 p.m. at the J.Q. Hammons Center in Rogers. Register today for a booth space so you can meet more than 1,000 well-qualified job seekers from the four-state area. Meet the Candidates – The Chamber will host four Candidate Forums in advance of the Primary Election in May. The forums allow candidates an opportunity to answer specific questions, and allow Chamber members the chance to meet them. Greet candidates in the contested Republican primary for Arkansas House District 95 and 99 at the first forum sponsored by Arvest Bank and AT&T on April 18 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Chamber, with lunch provided. Sponsorships for the forums are available. The forums are free and open to the public, with lunch provided. Developers Conference Set for Rogers – The Chamber and city of Rogers are co-hosting a conference designed just for new and experienced developers, contractors, builders, engineers, surveyors, real estate professionals and others involved in commercial and residential development in Rogers. The Second Annual Rogers Development Conference is set for April 25 from noon-4:30 p.m., and is free, with registration required. Learn more and register online here. China Town Hall Meeting – The Arkansas World Trade Center will join a virtual national town hall meeting on the opportunities and challenges posed by China’s growing economic and military power on April 17, with registration and a reception at 5:30 p.m, and the webcast beginning at 6 p.m. at the Arkansas World Trade Center, 3300 Market St., Ste. 400, Rogers. Conference on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency – Rep. John Boozman and the University of Arkansas will host this event on April 21 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development at the University of Arkansas. The event is free and open to the public.
