On Friday, Oct. 12 there will be a FREE pre-show discussion with Stanton Welch, Houston Ballet Artistic Director at 7pm. No RSVP required.

The story of Madame Butterfly is one of our most beloved tragic love stories, immortalized in modern terms in the Broadway sensation Miss Saigon. It's the gripping story of a young woman who falls for a foreigner and clings to his empty promise of lifelong love and happiness. The moving tale of a beautiful geisha's love and loss has never been told more eloquently than in Houston Ballet Artistic Director Stanton Welch's exquisite, two-act ballet rendition of "Madame Butterfly."

Houston Ballet Repertory Night

Saturday, Oct. 13, 8pm / Tickets start at $22
Click here for tickets or call 479.443.5600

This diverse night of dance will include the pieces Clear and Hush, as well as Velocity, which is described by Artistic Director Stanton Welch as "true classical dance at its most agile and exciting. This work tests the limits and talents of the dancers, because they're going as fast as they can, pushing their technique and bravado." After the show, stick around for the Post-Show Cafe, hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Dance Coalition!

Don't miss Hairspray, Nov. 13-18!

Tickets start at $25

Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon takes you back to 1962 Baltimore, as 16 year-old Tracy Turnblad sets out to dance her way onto TV's most popular show. Can a big girl with big dreams - and even bigger hair - change the world...and still have time to win the boy she loves?

This mega-hit is piled bouffant high with laughter and romance - and enough deliriously tuneful new songs to fill a nonstop platter party. It's the winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical. As The New York Times says, "If life were everything it should be, it would be more like HAIRSPRAY! It's irresistible!"

Mavis Staples, Charlie Musselwhite, the North Mississippi Allstars...
and more!
