(Fayetteville, AR - May 2007) – Developer Alexander, Merry-Ship & Alt Real Estate Group, Inc., in association with developer Nock Investments, LLC, is pleased to announce the successful pouring of the concrete foundation at Underwood Plaza on April 29th, 2007.

Number of concrete trucks present: 200+, including 2 concrete pump trucks with 1 on standby

Number of people on-site: 23 total = 7 Crossland Construction concrete laborers and finishers, 9 Crossland Construction supervisory personnel and traffic control personnel, 2 concrete pump operators, 2 Beaver Lake Concrete coordinators, 2 GTS, Inc., testing personnel (taking concrete samples for later strength testing) and Bill Underwood

Time pouring commenced: Sunday at 3:00 a.m.

Time pouring was completed: Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

Cubic yards of concrete: 1,895

Concrete Pour Lays Foundation for Underwood Plaza

Underwood Plaza will contain approximately 89,760 square feet of residential and commercial space.

In addition to original downtown Fayetteville condominium specialists Richard Alexander and Rob Merry-Ship, partners on the project include John Nock, Bill Underwood, Craig Underwood and Ted and Leslie Belden.

Alexander, Merry-Ship and Alt Real Estate Group, Inc., is recognized for several renovation projects including The Inn at Carnall Hall, The UARK Bowl condominiums and events center, The Ozark Theater building and, most recently, the condominium conversion of the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church property in the Fayetteville historic district.

Plans for the project allow for a 18-month construction period from start to finish. Estimated completion date is in Summer 2008.
