Flat Rock Clay Upcoming Workshops

We are excited to be able to bring Anthony Merino from the Dallas area to conduct a hands on workshop on Carving and designing with pattern. Many of you have asked about the wonderful Raku vessel in the retail area that he made. Anthony will demo his double walled throwing technique and working with patterns by carving and glazing. Bring a couple of bisqued pieces to glaze and raku using his techniques. Anthony has been published in most of the North American ceramics magazines and has done many workshops around the states. This will be a very informative and fun workshop, but is limited to 12 participants. The workshop will be Sat 9:30-4 and Sun 9:30-2 for $49. We will also have free slides Friday evening at 7p.
April 1, 10a-4p Kiln Firing and Maintenance
This is a great workshop for teachers, those interested in getting their first kiln, or just wanting to learn more about their kilns. $49 covers all and lunch. Limited to the first 12 so register early.
