Shiloh Museum Volunteer Training Workshop

The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History is seeking volunteers to help collect and preserve the history of Northwest Arkansas. The public is invited to attend an orientation workshop at the museum, Tuesday, January 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to discover how they can get involved.

Volunteers can work with the public during education programs and as a front desk greeter, or behind the scenes with collections and library staff. The orientation will include a look at the history and purpose of the museum, introductions to staff, and a tour of the museum’s exhibit hall, historic buildings, research library, and collections storage area. Lunch will be provided.

The Shiloh Museum is located at the corner of Johnson and Main in downtown Springdale, and is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, call 750-8165.
