SCORE Needs

SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business is a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers and funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The organization provides free counseling for shttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifmall businesses and non-profit organizations. How cool is that? For more information, check out

The organization needs your help with a couple of things:

First, SCORE counselors want to be a guest speaker to area service club or organizations. If your group has an interest in learning about what SCORE does for small business and area non-profit organizations, contact Pete Rathmell, SCORE Chapter Chair at 633-4440 or rathmell@mc2k.com.

Second, SCORE needs contacts of media outlets that run non-profit PSAs to help raise awareness. We have a few contacts but our list is far from complete. If you work for a media outlet, e-mail the contact info to Kristin and Steven Ferguson at ksferguson@msn.com.
